Valdés Math Students Spend Summers on College Campuses in the Bay Area

The opportunity to host students on a college campus is truly remarkable. For many of our students, it marks their first time stepping foot onto a college campus, making it an entirely new and adventurous experience. Being on a college campus allows Valdés Math students to immerse themselves in a college classroom environment, gradually dispelling the mystique surrounding college life. Jose Valdés Math has had the privilege of partnering with various colleges in the Bay Area to host our six-week summer program. During the summer of 2017, we were fortunate to be at San Jose City College (SJCC) and Evergreen Valley College (EVC). We captured some of the moments from that summer, and in this video, you can hear the perspectives of EVC and SJCC staff, as well as Jose Valdés Math students and staff.
