Elizabeth Vasquez

Board Member

Elizabeth Vasquez is a San Jose native who was raised by two immigrant parents from Mexico. Growing up as a first generation American and Latina, the importance of education was instilled in her at a young age. Elizabeth and her siblings attend Valdes Math summer school for a few summers. 

Elizabeth obtained her Bachelor's Degree in English from UC Santa Barbara and her Master’s Degree in Internet Business from ISDI University. Today, Elizabeth is a marketing professional working in tech and business owner for her own marketing agency. 

Beyond her work, Elizabeth is an advocate for community outreach, education and diversity. She is actively involved in Latinas in Tech, Silicon Valley where her work is focused on highlighting the need for more Latinas in the tech industry. She is also involved with Love Life Now Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to spreading awareness about domestic violence. Elizabeth hopes her involvement with Jose Valdes Math Foundation will help amplify the mission and importance of the program for students, everywhere.
